My latest Landscape October Poppies is now available to buy on my Red Bubble Site.
This poppy field in at Melbury Down in Dorset, caused a a bit of a stir recently and featured on the front page of the local paper as it is pretty unusual to see a field like this in late October. Such a beautiful scene. The day I went the weather wasn't great, chilly and gray in the main, but it didn't deter me or many others from venturing out to capture the spectacle.

Wow, 'unusual' is not the word. I seriously thought poppies only ever flowered at around May time. This is stunning and beautifully captured.
